Time Change Shift!

We have been hearing many prophetic words about shakings, changing seasons, shifts in church structures and purity. The reason being …… “The Lord is building His church!”

God is looking for His TRUE church, which is led by His Spirit, and those who can discern His Spirit. God is taking man’s structure out of us, so we can go back to being led by His Spirit.

Change is coming… change from structure to the very substance of Jesus!

This shift has left some in disarray….for no one knows what it looks like, we have to discern it! We end up looking for a form because that’s what we’re used to doing. But we need to have revelation and discernment to know who we are and who each other is. God’s looking for those who discern the Spirit’s life in each other, not structures or forms of godliness. We are the Living Stones, the Stones that will build the container of life to house the “Glory”.

In times of shaking and changing seasons, we become unsettled and this can result in feeling fearful, confused and discouraged. We begin to ask the questions, Who am I? Where do I belong? What is my calling? Who do I trust? We can begin to pick up offences towards each other, the church, and our family members. We MUST guard our hearts, for it sets the course of our lives. (Selah)

How do we guard our hearts? Firstly, we need to seek after purity, keep our eyes on Him and stay in an attitude of worship. It is imperative we walk in love and unity towards each other in order to be the container that the Lord is looking for. If we build up our faith and trust that God is near and is in control, then the heavens will open.

Remember…All things are possible to those who believe! You will receive courage to believe again, courage to release promises, courage to release gifts, courage to dream and courage to bring us into Christ’s victorious power!

Prayer Focus for February 2007

  1. Lord, may your Spirit rest upon us, your Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding, your Spirit of Counsel and Might, your Spirit of Knowledge and the Fear of the Lord. Help us to be led by your Spirit and discern your Spirit within each other. Build your church, Lord, that the gates of hell will NOT prevail! May your Kingdom come on earth as it is established in heaven. (Is. 11:2, Matt. 5:10 & 16:18)
  2. Holy Spirit, help us to worship in Spirit and in Truth. Teach us and show us how to become true worshippers, for that is our desire. (John 4:23-24)
  3. Help us, Lord, to bear fruit that would glorify who YOU are! Let us lay down our agendas and our recognition and cause us to walk worthy of you, Lord, fully pleasing you and being fruitful. Fill us with knowledge and spiritual understanding, being strengthened with all power according to your glorious might so that we may have great endurance and patience. (Col 1:9-13, Matt 7:20)
  4. Lord, release fresh vision and fresh fire within our hearts for we want to do what you want. Let us not forsake the assembling of the saints, but draw us together to build the container of life that will house your Glory. (Ps 40:8, Heb 10:23-25)
  5. Through these times of shaking and change, help us to trust you, Lord, and to keep our hearts guarded. Let us not cast away our confidence or become offended. Keep us filled with the fruits of righteousness. (Phil 1:9-11, Heb 10: 35-36, Prov 4:23)
  6. Release a Spirit of courage and boldness to us, Lord, that we will do your will and be victorious! Release your power in us for signs and wonders. Release Great Grace so we can run the race set before us. (Acts 4:29-31, 33, Heb 12:1-2)
  7. Lord, increase a love for purity in our hearts. Deliver us from evil and cleanse us that we may ascend to your holy hill. We desire to see you and we hunger and thirst for righteousness. Fill us, Lord, with your purity. (Prov 22:11, Ps 24:3-6, Matt 6&8)

Specific Prayers for XPmedia

  1. Shirley Ross (overseer of department and producer of television programs) – pray for wisdom, accuracy, creativity, speed, strength, health, joy.
  2. Patricia King (host of program and ministry overseer). – pray for increased favor, open doors, keen prophetic insight, wisdom, strength, divine health, peace.
  3. Building of the media team – pray for the release of the team to come together, the finances, unity, covering of love over the team, creativity.
  4. Equipment – no breakdown, proper function, finances.
  5. Financial Partners and Intercessors – pray for the Lord to raise up His army of supporters and prayer warriors. Pray for every partner and intercessor to be blessed beyond measure in every area that they sow into.
  6. God’s Media Army Conference – pray for every speaker (Chuck Pierce, Jill Austin, Dick Dewert, Pamela Gilbert, Steve Shultz, Scott McLeod and Patricia King.) Pray for great impact in the area of media through this conference. Believe for favor on the event. Pray through conference pray directives (attached).
  7. Pray for pre-production of the next season of XPTV (March – June). Pray for all the creative, the production of ads, street segments, interview segments, organization of speakers, etc to be done in record time and with a spirit of excellence. Pray for the admin of the pre-production.
  8. Pray for the actual shoot in Lethbridge in July – anointing, blessing, favor, hovering of the Spirit, all equipment to work well, anointing on program guests, etc.
  9. Pray for the birthing of the new program THE PATRICIA KING SHOW. This will have an audience, many guests and lots of interaction. Pray for the creative, all admin aspects, wisdom on program content, guests, etc.
  10. Pray for finances, finances, finances.
  11. Pray for great favor on all that we do and on all our team.
  12. Pray that we will stay on the cutting edge in the area of Christian Media – that we would follow the cloud wherever He leads us. Pray that we would not lag behind or run ahead but be right in step with the Spirit of God as He leads and guides.
  13. Pray for the street shots to capture the works of God. Believe for divine appointments with the camera.
  14. Pray for all the web-streaming at our conferences and everything that needs to be organized in this department during the coming months.
  15. Believe for faith to be released into all who watch the media.
  16. Pray for divine appointments with others in the field of media.
  17. Pray for the Lord to be greatly honoured in all that we do.
